The teachings of Holy Quran serve to be the keystone in a true Muslim’s life. The relation between the Holy Quran and a true Muslim’s life is that of an electron’s to the nucleus of an atom; taking strength by revolving around it and keep doing so till there is some end to it. This is because Quran contains the road map of all walks of life for its followers, as it contains nothing else but pure words of God Almighty, as it is stated in the Holy Quran itself:
Aal-e-Imran [3:7] He it is Who has sent down to thee the book: in it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the book: others are not of well-established meaning. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is not of well-established meaning. Seeking discord, and searching for its interpretation, but no one knows it’s true meanings except Allah, and those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: “We believe in it; the whole of it is from our Lord”; and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.

And God Almighty wants us to heed to His words of wisdom:
Al-Araf [7:2] A book revealed unto thee― so let thy heart be oppressed no more by any difficulty on that account that with it thou mightest warn (the erring) and teach the Believers.
Not only God Almighty, but his beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) says:
“The best among you is the one who learnt Quran and taught it to others”.
Thus, it is one our prime obligation to equip ourselves with the praise worthy knowledge of God, bestowed upon us in the form of Holy Quran. That is why, to Teach Quran is considered to be a matter of great honor and a Quran tutor is deemed as a person of great stature and exaltation in an Islamic society. Because, the responsibility of a Quran tutor is a matter of great concern and impact in an Islamic society, and to teach Quran is considered to be the holiest and noblest of jobs one can go for.
The following hadhith, related by At-Tirmithi is quite evident of the high status of those who teach Quran:
Once The Messenger (PBUH) of Allah said, “He is not of us who does not respect our elderly, is merciful to our youth, and knows the rights of those who teach us.”
This is a clear proof of the exalted status of a Quran Tutor in the eyes of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Ever increasing Muslim population scattered all across the globe in today’s world is eager to find convenient ways to teach Quran to their new generations. Luckily, modern technology has new ways through which one can teach Quran to an increased number of masses more effectively through the expertise of a well versed Quran tutor.
Now anyone having the ease of internet connection at hand can easily find a Quran tutor online who can conveniently and efficiently teach Quran to everybody willing to equip him/herself with the most glorious knowledge of Holy Quran.
Thus modern age has been even more helpful in exalting the status of a Quran tutor, an already honorable figure of Islamic society, for the praise worthy services he is extending in spreading the word of Go to all Muslims.

The Quran has several verses, which tell different facts and particulars about it. Of course, the words in the Quran are the words of Allah Almighty. Therefore, any linguist who is not even a believer agrees that the things could not have been explained better.

The Quran is a great miracle and the gift of Allah to the human kind. Allah Almighty says,
“And certainly We have given you seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the grand Quran”. Al-Hijr [15:87]
The verse mainly tells two things.
- The Quran is a gift for the humanity revealed by Allah Almighty.
- The “seven oft-repeated verses” which are referred to here refer to Surah Fatiha of the Quran, which is the first Surah of the Quran. it is recited in each Rakat of all the prayers.
The Quran was revealed in the most significant Islamic month, i.e. the Ramadan. It is mentioned in the following verse.
Allah Almighty says,
“The month of Ramadan is that in which the Quran was revealed, a guidance to men and clear proofs of the guidance and the distinction; therefore whoever of you is present in the month, he shall fast therein, and whoever is sick or upon a journey, then (he shall fast) a (like) number of other days; Allah desires ease for you, and He does not desire for you difficulty, and (He desires) that you should complete the number and that you should exalt the greatness of Allah for His having guided you and that you may give thanks. Al-Baqara [2:185]
The verse mainly tells the following points.
- Allah chose the month of Ramadan for the revelation of the Quran.
- The Quran is the Hidaya for the humanity.
- The Quran convinces logically with examples and with proofs.
- The rest of the verse explains in detail about the fasting, which is a compulsion for the Muslims.

The month of Muharram holds a lot of importance and significance in Islam, which is proved by the verses of the Quran. It is recommended for the Muslims to have at least the basic knowledge about the importance of the month of Muharram. Muharram is the month of the Karbala incident; however, it is extremely important for other reasons too.
First month of the Islamic Year
The Quran declared Muharram as the first month of the Islamic calendar. It means that the first of Muharram is the first day of the Islamic year. It is a good time for the Muslims to set their New Year’s resolutions. It is not an Islamic ritual or not proved by the Sunnah, but only a suggestion. It is extremely beneficial to stick to the Quran and the Hadees for the guidance.
One of the four sacred months for Muslims according to the Quran
The divine Quran declared Muharram as the sacred month. The following is a verse from the Quran.
‘The number of months in the sight of Allah is twelve (in a year) – So ordained by Him the day He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are sacred: That is the right religion. So wrong not yourselves therein.’ (Surah Taubah. Al-Quran)
Fasting in Muharram
As narrated by Ibn Abbas (r.a) that when the holy prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) came to Medina he observed that the Jews used to fast on the 10th of Muharram. He asked them the reason of their fast. The Jews told that on 10th Moharram Allah saved Moses from the tyrant king drowned the king and his army in the water. The Jews also told that Moses used to fast on 10th of Muharram as a token of being thankful to Allah.
Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said, ‘We are more worthy of Moosa (AS) and nearer to him than you.’ Thereafter, he fasted on this day and ordered the companions to fast on this day. (Muslim, Vol. 1)
However later prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said, “Observe the fast of Aashura and oppose (the way of) the Jews. Fast a day before it (also) or a day after it.’ (Baqihi)

The divine guidance from Allah Almighty is contained in the holy book of the Quran. It is the Hidaya (guidance) for the entire humanity until eternity.

The following are some fact about the Glorious Quran that every Muslim must know.
- The Quranic verses are the words of Allah Almighty. Therefore, it is not a surprise when it is regarded as the finest lingual example of the Arabic language.
- There were three divine books revealed before the Quran. However, they were changed with time. The Quran is the book of divine guidance for the Muslims. It is valid until the Day of Judgment.
- The Quran is saved as it is from the time it was revealed. The safety of the Quran is a miracle and a promise of Allah Almighty.
- The entire Quran was not revealed at one time. It was reveal in parts over a period of nearly 23 years.
- The Quran was revealed by Allah Almighty through his special angle, Jibril to the last Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w).
- The prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) took special care to preserve the Quran. When the verses were revealed he used to recite those to his companions. Some of the companions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) were appointed to write the Quran on the pieces of wood and barks of the trees. Some companions of the holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) used to memorize the verses of the Quran as soon as they were revealed.
- The holy prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) made sure that the entire Quran was compiled in the form of a book. It was in the Arabic dialect spoken by the tribe of the Qureish. Later, Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w)’s companions, Abu Bakr (R.A.) and Umar Farooq (R.A.) produced more copies of Quran in the same dialect. The copies in other dialects were burned and thus a standardized from of Quran was preserved.

The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said,

“The best among you is the one who learned Quran and taught it to others”.
It is an unfortunate fact that most of the Muslims today do not know what exactly is written in their Holy book, Quran. This is because of several reasons. Sometimes the parents do not understand the significance of teaching the Quran to their children. As a result he children grow up only with a certain set of principles taught by their parents and do not care about realizing the essence of the religion.
Some grownups say that they are too busy in their life to devote too much time to understand the Quran. Actually, the Quran understanding is promoted as something too cumbersome and time consuming by the so-called Islamic scholars. Of course, these scholars have vested interests in doing so. They know that if the masses do not try to understand the Quran by themselves, they can lead them in their desired directions.
There can be several workable strategies for someone who wants to understand the Quran. The first pre-requisite for understanding the Quran is the will of the person to do so. Another thing one must realize is that learning the Quran recitation in Arabic and understanding it are two different things. It is of no doubt that the Quran recitation is a way of earning many virtues. However, if one understands the Quran and transform one’s life that too might earn even more virtues. Of course, the reason of a Muslim’s life is to understand his holy book and to spend the life according to the Islamic principles.
For the Muslims, whose native language (or the mother tongue) is not Arabic; the Quran understanding is possible by reading the translations. The Quran has been translated in almost all the languages of the world. In fact, not many religious scriptures have this distinction. The English translations of the Quran are widely available. The most popular and easy to understand English translation of the Quran is by Pickthal.
So buy a copy of the Quran translation today to lead a life according to the Islamic principles.

(In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger)
The Holy Quran contains wondrous stories and lessons about the past of how the messengers and the people they represented, moved through life in what part of the world with what sort of lifestyle. Mainly the references are quoted to accomplish a couple of reasons.
- The practices of the messengers and the teachings that they gave their people and how they had to bear hardships in spreading the word of Allah Almighty.
- To determine that all prophets have informed the masses about the final coming prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) to complete th religious work after which the process of revelation and the prophets will cease till the day of Judgment.
- The promises of previous prophets and the promise made by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and the synchronization of the teachings that are clearly indicative that there was a Supreme Being, The Allah Almighty that governed the whole process.
There are some other reasons too but we’ll keep them for later. Let’s see some of the verses of the Quran in reference to the revelation and the prophets that were sent to guide mankind in different civilizations.
“We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of Messengers; We gave jesus the son of Mary clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the holy spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you a messenger with what ye yourselves desire not ye, are puffed up with pride? ―Some ye called impostors and others ye slay!” (Surah Al-Baqara) (Quran Online)
“We have sent thee inspiration as We sent it to Noah and the Messengers after him; We sent inspiration to Abraham, Ismail, isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David, We gave the Psalms.” (Surah An-Nisa)
These are some of the verses to give you a hint of how the succession followed. As proved by a lot of Ahadith too, there have been around one hundred and twenty four thousand prophets, altogether, to guide the mankind over different periods of time and in different civilizations but the Holy Quran references only 25 of them.

(In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger)

Nature and everything that it encircles was created by the Allah Almighty and according to His wish. Humans are termed to be what He mentioned in the Holy Quran to be His viceroy on Earth.
“He it is who created you from clay, and then decreed a stated term (for you). And there is in His presence another determined term; yet ye doubt within yourselves!.”(Surah Al-Anaam) (Quran Online)
“We created man from sounding clay, from mud molded into shape”(Surah Al-Hijr) (Quran Online)

Allah Almighty has created man with a specific purpose and that is to worship Him and do community service since the purpose is to fulfill the responsibilities in the world and towards the Almighty. In addition, Allah Almighty has created the sense of curiosity in the Human beings so naturally a human is always curious about things. This is proved by the fact that in the Holy Quran, Allah Almighty has asked Mankind at various times to observe what lies in heavens and the earth. Also, Allah says:
“He said: “Get ye down both of you― all together from the Garden, with enmity one to another; but if, as is sure there comes to you guidance from Me, whosoever follows My guidance, will not lose his way nor fall into misery.”(Surah Taha) (Quran Online)
As mentioned, Allah Almighty already says that guidance can help us prosper; this guidance was provided to us by the Holy messengers sent by the Almighty overtime.
The moral values that Quran teaches are concerning the reminders that Allah Almighty gives us and we deviate from them and the path we choose leads to damnation. To succeed in our quest in this world, which is to succeed and get rewarded in the After-life, we have to pay heed to the warnings that have been given to us already and that is something which the Holy Quran gives us so we are supposed to recite its verses everyday to stay connected to our real purpose.

Muslims all around the world live in different conditions and situations with a different set of culture and values in a society that they live in. There were people who thought that Muslims all around the world would differ in the teachings and values and the stronghold of Islam will collapse. But they were wrong. There have been groups that always try to break the unity and try to distort the brotherhood Muslims share.
“”Our Lord! Make of us Muslims bowing to Thy (Will) and of our progeny a people Muslim bowing to Thy (Will) and show us our places for the celebration of (due) rites; and turn unto us (in Mercy); for Thou art the Oft-Returning Most-Merciful.”(Surah Al-Baqarah)
This verse from the Holy Quran tells us that the Muslims are nevertheless bound to return and the belief we hold is the key of the brotherhood that we have.
“To each is a goal to which Allah turns him; then strive together (as in a race) toward all that is good. Wheresoever ye are, Allah will bring you together. For Allah hath power over all things.”(Surah Al-Baqara) (Quran Online)
As the almighty says in the Holy Quran, Races and sects are the identifications that we have, and there is not specific favorability that anybody can achieve except for being pious and being receptive towards the environment.
“For Muslim men and women― for believing men and women, for devout men and women, for true men and women, for men and women who are patient and constant, for men and women who humble themselves, for men and women who give in charity, for men and women who fast (and deny themselves) for men and women who guard their chastity and for men and women who engage much in Allah’s praise― for them has Allah prepared forgiveness and great reward.” (Surah Al-Ahzaab) (Quran Online)
All men and women are equal as Muslims and all the Muslims around the world form a brotherhood that cannot be broken. We must work to maintain that brotherhood and help our brothers who deviate from the teachings of Islam and appreciate the ones who uphold it.

The main reason of the existence of mankind is to worship God through different nature of prayers. One is to perform the regular duty of remembering Allah Almighty during the day, and then worshipping Allah by performing Community service towards Humans and other creatures that the Allah Almighty has created in this world. If you are not aware of these terms or the concept, you can go online and read the covenants and the teachings that have been given to us as a gift, and all of it can be found in Quran Online.
“Every soul draws the meed of its acts on none but itself: no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. Your goal in the end is toward Allah: He will tell you the truth of the things wherein ye disputed.”(Surah Al-Anaam)
Every person is responsible for His/her own actions and the Day of judgment will be the final day when deeds will either yield benefits or curse over the people who committed them. As you can read from Quran Online, Allah Almighty informs us:
“It is He who hath made you (His) agents, inheritors of the earth: He hath raised you in ranks some above others: that he may try you in the gifts He hath given you: for thy Lord is quick in punishment: yet He is indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”(Surah Al-Anaam)
There are laws that will be applied to people doing good and evil in this world which acts a test for us mankind. We are subject to approval or disapproval to get the rewards and the blessings of Allah Almighty if we are worthy.
“He that doeth good shall have ten times as much to his credit: he that doeth evil shall only be recompensed according to his evil. no wrong shall be done unto (any of) them.”(Surah Al-Anaam)
Every human can commit error, it is a universal thing but a deliberate crime is still a crime and not worshipping Allah Almighty as commanded is a crime against Allah. Read more and learn more about these teachings through Quran Online.

(In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger)
As much as the Quran promotes justice, it also mentioned Charity as one of the most faithful acts that can be performed by a Muslim or anybody else. Consider the Following verse:
“It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces towards East or West; but it is righteousness―to believe in Allah and the Last Day and the Angels and the Book and the Messengers; to spend of your substance out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans for the needy, for the wayfarer for those who ask and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer and practise regular charity; to fulfil the contracts which ye have made; and to be firm and patient in pain (or suffering) and adversity and throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of truth the Allah-fearing.” (Surah Al-Baqara) (Quran Online)

The foremost charity that can be given is the Zakat which is also a pillar of Islam and apart from that, Quran mentions giving out a wave of monetary benefits to the people who are not that lucky in having a pleasant life or who are needy.
“O ye who believe! Cancel not your charity by reminders of your generosity or by injury― like those who spend their substance to be seen of men, but believe neither in Allah nor in the Last Day. They are in Parable like a hard, barren rock, on which is a little soil; on it falls heavy rain, which leaves it (just) a bare stone. They will be able to do nothing with aught they have earned. And Allah guideth not those who reject faith.” (Surah Al-Baqara) (Quran Online)
Charity removes the stains of evil as mentioned in the next Holy Quran verse:
“If ye disclose (acts of) charity even so it is well, but if ye conceal them, and make them reach those (really) in need that is best for you: it will remove from you some of your (stains of) evil. And Allah is well acquainted with what ye do.” (Surah Al-Baqara)
Giving out charity to people who need it is an act of belief and humility; it signifies that you consider helping other creatures and mankind, in fact all creatures of Allah and working as The Almighty instructed.
