And The Mystery Of Laden Goes On…..

Finally Bin Laden chapter comes to an end with the death of the most wanted figure on the face of the world. Few people in the world enjoy power, popularity, and influence at the same time, and Bin Laden was one of them. He surely had the power to influence, which made him the leader of Al-Qaeda. He was important enough to be discussed in white house and Pentagon, but Bin Laden was a mystery and he will always be a mystery!

This is the seventh time, when Laden was declared “killed”, though officially first from white house. However, this is expected to be the final one, since white house has accepted the operation-led-killing of the most controversial figure of the world.

The world has witnessed many personalities like Laden. Laden was not very different from Hitler. The two personalities shared the extremism is their nature. Laden was born to a Syrian mother in 1957. He was the seventh of his fifty siblings.

The family migrated to Kingdom from Yemen, in 1930. The family was into construction business and it Bin Laden group of companies is the biggest construction company of Kingdom even today. Osama received his primary education from kingdom and his family pattern was religious, since his father was a strict religious person.

Osama was killed in Pakistan, neighboring country to Afghanistan, where he had been hiding. However, the Pakistan intelligence is said to be involved in the operation against Laden by US Forces.

For many Osama was a respected figure and for many the most disrespected one. “The world is safer. It is a better place because of the death of Osama bin Laden,” declared President Barack Obama, hours after U.S. forces killed the al-Qaida leader. After the Osama, a euphoria and ecstasy wave touched the relatives and loved ones of those who died in the September 11 attacks. The celebration of crowd in front of white house was covered by many News media outlets. The celebration of crowd continued throughout the night.

Another chapter closes but has the mystery solved with his death? What about Al- Qaeda next? If US knew about Osama’s presence in Pakistan, why it did not react before? The mysteries yet have to be solved.

Another question that most of Muslims ask is, was Osama a real Muslim, and if he was, was he really responsible for the terrorist attacks on World Trade Center? These unsolved mysteries have to be buried with the burial of Osama Bin Laden.

As far as Islam is concerned, it is the religion of peace, harmony, and tolerance. It neither supports nor promotes acts of terrorism. Allah (SWT) says in the Quran, “whoever kills an innocent, it is as if he has killed all mankind; and whoever saves a person, it is as if he has saved all mankind.”

Every Muslim is a building block of the Muslims Ummah. Every Muslim has to play his part in removing the label of terrorism from the Ummah. Therefore, make Quran teaching and recitation a part of your life and become a Muslim in real sense. The labels will ultimately be removed.
