Our beloved prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the most stable personality in the history of mankind.  We as Muslims should follow the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and follow the Seerah to get rewards and blessing and this would also lead to control of our negative emotions. When Muslims won the battle of Badr and returned home, the Prophet (PBUH) was informed that His daughter had passed away. He (SAW) did not highlight His sorrow; He (SAW) did not mourn on it. Prophet (PBUH) let the Muslims celebrate the victory. However, during the conquest of Makkah, He (SAW) did not get carried away by vindictiveness or elation. His head was down, He (PBUH) was remembering Allah Almighty and He (SAW) granted everyone a general amnesty.

So, we should manage our time, communicate with others honestly to deal with our negative emotions. Attend the company of Good Behavior people so that our habits change accordingly. Have a strong belief in Almighty Allah and be thankful to Almighty Allah in all circumstances. In this way, we can deal with our negative emotions with the teachings of Islam.
