Productive Ramadan towards Better Humanity

Ramadan is a blessed month and for many of us Ramadan starts with a bang and for some they have no idea how the month came to an end. This Islamic month is full of bounties and immense pleasure for those divine Muslims who want to seek Allah’s mercy and forgiveness. To utilize this month of Ramadan make a list and pledge in heart how to accomplish them.

Productive tips for ramadan 2016

  1. Make Intentions To Achieve Goals:

The key to grasp success in the blessed month of Ramadan is to organize your plan and then to execute. These things sounds hectic and monotonous but helps in a longer run which acts as a goldmine prior Ramadan.

Plan a goal and make all efforts to execute it for example:

  • Promise yourself that you will read Quran in this Ramadan but in a different way like read it with meanings, understand the purpose of revealing it upon Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and understand why it is the portal of knowledge and truth.
  • Other tasks can be learning 99 names of Allah and making a deed, which is between you and Allah.
  • Make intentions for these goals and Allah will help you in reward as deeds are granted on the base of intentions:

“Verily actions are by intentions, and for every person is what he intended.” [Al Bukhari]

  1. Never Miss Even Small Deeds:

Ramadan is a month of blessings about which Allah says that this month is for Me and I will give the reward:

“The five (daily) prayers, and from one Friday prayer to the next, and from Ramadan to Ramadan are expiation for sins committed in between provided one stays away from the major sins.” [Al-Bukhari]

Never miss any single deed with the intention that it is small, as no one knows the value of that deed in sight of Allah.

If the deed seems minute to you then involve others to extend it. You can arrange iftar for the less privileged ones and can buy some goodies for Eid ul Fitar so that they too can be a part of these divine joys.

  1. Tame Your Tongue:

This Ramadan is in intense summer and hot and humid weather can unleash the beast out of you. This Ramadan the basic goal should be to hold your tongue and not to hurt anyone with foul language. The best way to make this Ramadan productive is to stay quiet when anyone says anything to you as Hadith states:

“Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Fasting is a shield; so when one of you is fasting he should neither indulge in obscene language nor should he raise his voice in anger. If someone attacks him or insults him, let him say: “I am fasting!” [Muslim]

It is Allah the mighty Lord who does not like a fasting body, which does not desist from foul word or backbiting. That is the reason that taming tongue is significant in comparison to rest of the deeds. Heart is a reflection if what you say and do, hence think prior doing any deed.

  1. Make Quran and Namaz Your buddy:

Ramadan is the month, which makes you regular and disciplined Muslim. Make Ramadan your friend this time to get something new form it. All those habits, which are good and beneficial, can be continued till the end of your life which will transform you into a new human being.

Namaz is pure deed which connects you with Allah and offering it five times a day make you regular in offering your services by worshipping Him. Ramadan can be a source of happiness and ease for you if you take these practices and attain something positive from it rather to consider it a burden.

Give charity to the poor and grasp as much reward as you can because Zakah is the only way to purify your sins committed as said:

productive ramadan 3:92

“Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah] from that which you love. And whatever you spend – indeed, Allah is Knowing of it.” [Quran 3:92]

  1. Ask for Strength:

Ramadan is not over until it is actually over so never thin that you cannot achieve anything. If Allah has given you another chance of Ramadan and opportunity to ask for His forgiveness hence make it productive. Ask for strength so that you can bow down in front of Him to atone to your sins and beseech forgiveness.

Surmising, do not focus on what others have achieved rather what you want to achieve and never lose hope if any of your friends has achieved more than you because it is the quality over quantity that will count later.
