Quranic Duas that Every Muslim Must Memorize and Recite Daily

Quran is the book of Almighty Allah revealed on Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Holy Quran is the book of guidance from which you can learn everything related to religion or even a small matter of everyday life. The need of the hour is to read the Quran in order to comprehend its Message in the most rightful way. By doing so, one would come to know that the knowledge present in this heavenly book can be applied to any era.

One of the major elements of a Muslim conduct to make Dua or supplication from Almighty Allah. Besides the general and major events like Eid, Funeral, Fasting, Marriage, etc., religion Islam stresses upon Muslims to supplicate for even the unimportant matters of life. Hence, practicing Muslims supplicate or make Dua to Allah Almighty even for the simplest matters of daily routine life.

In the Holy Quran, there are many Duas that we should memorize and recite in our daily life routine. Below, we have mentioned some supplications or Quranic Duas which are very beneficial in our daily life routine.

Dua for Ablution (Wudu)

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ

Translation: “O Allah, make me of those who return to You often in repentance and make me of those who remain clean and pure.”

Dua after Hearing Adhan

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّداً الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَاماً مَحْمُوداً الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ، إَنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ

Translation: “O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and established prayer. Grant Muhammad the intercession and favor, and raise him to the honored station You have promised him, [verily You do not neglect promises].”

Dua for Entering the Mosque

أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ الْعَظِيمِ، وَبِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيمِ، وَسُلْطَانِهِ الْقَدِيمِ، مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ. [بِسْمِ اللهِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَّامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ] اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ

Translation: “I seek refuge in Almighty Allah, by His Noble Face, by His primordial power, from Satan the outcast. [In the Name of Allah, and blessings.] [And peace be upon the Messenger of Allah.] O Allah, open before me the doors of Your mercy.”

Dua for Leaving the Mosque

بِسْمِ اللهِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَّامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ، اللَّهُمَّ إَنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ اعصِمْنِي مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ

Translation: “In the Name of Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, I ask for Your favor, O Allah, protect me from Satan the outcast.”

Dua for before Eating

بِسْمِ الله

Translation: “In the Name of Allah.”

Dua for after Eating

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِى أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِين

Translation: “All praise and gratitude is due to Allah Who has fed us and given us drink, and Who has made us Muslims.”

Dua for Entering the Home

بِسْمِ اللهِ وَلَجْنَا، وَ بِسْمِ اللهِ خَرَجْنَا، وَعَلَى رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا

Translation: “In the Name of Allah we enter, in the Name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we depend.”

Dua for Leaving the Home

بِسْمِ اللهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ

Translation: “In the Name of Allah, I have placed my trust in Allah; there is no might and no power except by Allah.”

Dua for getting dressed

الْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي هَذَا (الثَّوبَ) وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ

Translation: “Praise is to Allah Who has clothed me with this (garment) and provided it for me, though I was powerless myself and incapable.”

Dua for undressing

بِسْمِ اللهِ

Translation: “In the Name of Allah.”

Dua for wearing new clothes


اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ كَسَوْتَنِيهِ، أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهِ وَخَيْرِ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرِّ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ

Translation: “O Allah, praise is to You. You have clothed me. I ask You for its goodness and the goodness of what it has been made for, and I seek Your protection from the evil of it and the evil of what it has been made for.”

Dua or supplication has such a noble status that every Muslim should know the importance of making Dua. Its significance is mentioned in Quran in these words:

وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ

“Call me! I will answer” (Quran, 40:60)

So, we should make Dua from Allah (SWT) whether what’s the situation in our life Allah Almighty will surely listen and fulfill our acceptable wishes which are beneficial for us. We should also learn Duas in the Arabic language which we have to use in our daily life routine as mentioned above. These Duas are very useful to make our life full of blessings and peace.
