Importance of Surah Al-Mulk: Surah Al-Mulk is the Makki Surah revealed on Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in Makah. All of the Quran is blessed and parts of the Quran we have been informed about their specific blessing. One such Surah that we have been informed about its blessing is Surah Mulk. Surah Mulk is the 67th chapter of Holy Quran has 30 verses in it.

- Protection in the grave: Grave is the terrifying home that someone will enter after death. There is no hiding in the grave and there, in that place of worms, this Surah Al-Mulk will come to protect you or for saving you. Its recitation will protect us against being punished in the grave as we should know the time in the grave will be longer than on earth we can’t compare it.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “It is a protector; a rescuer; saving from the chastisement of the grave.” (At-Tirmidhi)
- It intercedes for us: Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: “There is a Surah in the Quran that consists of thirty verses that call for a man until his sins are forgiven”.
From above saying of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), we can conclude that if a person recites Surah Al-Mulk daily then this Surah will continue to intercede on the day of resurrection until Allah (SWT) forgive all his sins.
- Recite Surah Al-Mulk before sleeping: When person sleep he is not able to protect him so if a person recites Surah Al-Mulk before sleeping then an angel will come to protect him.
- Infinite blessings: There are infinite blessings that you can earn for just a few minutes of recitation. Honestly, it will only take few minutes from beginning to end while reciting it. Just think about the blessings and virtues associated with the recitation of these verses. On every word, there are blessings for us in this life and the life hereafter when every person will need the virtues.
