Reasons Why you need to Learn the Arabic Language

The Holy Book Quran is the source of knowledge and faith for all Muslims. The Holy Quran is one of the most influential religious texts of all time because it is not for just Muslims but for all mankind. The Noble Quran marks subjects like wisdom, worship, doctrine, and many more. The Holy Quran includes every aspect of life which a person needs to know about. The best of all education in this world is the Quran and acquiring it is mandatory for every human being to learn Quran with understanding. Learning Quran is a full time benefiting and comforting work which is worth doing for this life and also for the hereafter.

Arabic is the 5th most commonly spoken the native language in the world. The Quran is in the Arabic language that needs to be learned in order to understand the teaching of Almighty Allah. Quran learning is a very noble act, which should be performed by every Muslim man and woman because it gives knowledge about all aspects of life, brings closer to the Creator, and will be a proof of the rewards of good deeds on the Day of Judgment.

Almighty Allah mentioned in the Holy Quran: “Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran that you might understand.” (Quran, 12:2)

Thus, by learning the Arabic language, you will have a better acknowledgment for the Quran and its meaning. When one understands the words, they form a deeper connection with the Quran and Allah (SWT). When we understand the words of the Quran, it becomes easier to implement it in our daily life. When you start to understand the Arabic language then you will be able to understand the meaning of Quran, consequently, you will form a direct connection with Allah Almighty, because they are His words and commands.

The majority of Islamic teachings are in the Arabic language. Learn Arabic to understand the words of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Learning Arabic will make you able to understand the Hadiths of the Prophet (SAW) without needing to rely on a translation. Much of the Islamic heritage has been and will remain inaccessible to the non-Arabic speaking Muslims, especially since the majority has not been translated. Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran: “This is a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.” (Quran, 38:29)

Avoid misconceptions by understanding Arabic, which is the language of the Quran. Learn Arabic and quickly eliminate any misconceptions and incorrect facts about the religion Islam. This has become extremely common nowadays to use the Quranic verses out of context or state incorrect facts about our religion or provide sub-standard interpretations.
